I'm not sure I registered, how do I check?

You can enter your name HERE at the top of the page to see if you are registered. You can also re-send your confirmation email to yourself.

Can I take my stroller out on the course?

Yes, you can take your stroller and it does not have to be registered! There is a wide dirt path at the end of both the 5K and half marathon so be aware of that. If you want a medal for the stroller it will need to be registered.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, no :( We ourselves would LOVE to be able to bring our own little furry running companions - however our venue's rules prevent us from allowing pets. 

What if I have a service animal?

If you bring your service animal, we just ask that it wears an identifiable vest or collar, although not required.

Do you have discounted group rates?

Yes, we do, registration fees just have to be paid in full up front!

Is bib pick-up required prior to the race?

Although we highly recommend going to bib pick-up in order to make your race morning easier, it is not required. Bib pick-up will also be available on race morning starting at 5:30am.


Can I pick a bib up for my friends and family?

You can pick up another participant's bib as long as you have a photocopy or picture of that person's ID (smart phone/text photos are fine).

Does everyone get a finisher medal, including the 5K finishers?

YES, all registered 5K and half marathoners get one, and they're AWESOME!

Can I buy the sweet Temecula Half & 5K gear after the race?

YES but we recommend you pre-purchase during the registration process to ensure your size and style! 

Where do I stay?

Here's a list of hotels in the area to get you closer to the start line on race morning.

Does every registered runner get drink tastings?

Yes if you are 21+ with a valid ID. Wine, beer, spirit and libation tastings and a signature logo glass are included in the price of your race entry. There will also be additional glasses and tickets available for sale after the race. Bring cash or card if you want to partake in a little extra! (And trust us, you will!) 

Can my friends & family participate in the post-race wine tasting?

YES they can if they are 21+ with a valid ID. Extra signature logo'd wine glasses and tasting tickets will be available for purchase during the registration process and at the race - be sure to bring cash or card and your ID!

Will there be coffee and food there?

YES! There will be fresh drip coffee and food options.

What is the "Non-Committal Plan?

Select this option during registration and you can cancel your registration, transfer to another person, defer to the next year, or switch distances until October 11 without getting charged a fee. *Less the processing fees. If you are transferring your distance up you will be charged the difference. If you need to make any changes after November 1 they will need to happen at bib pick-up or race morning before start. One plan per person.

Can I transfer to another runner?

YES transfers are allowed for a $10 fee and need to be done by Oct 11th. If you have the "Non-Committal Plan" you will not be charged the $10 fee. Please email events@sandyfeetevents.com with the first name, last name, and email address of the person you would like to transfer your bib to. The $10 will be charged to your card on file and a registration email will be sent to the person you are transferring your bib to.

Can I switch my race distance?

YES you can for a $10 fee. If you have the "Non-Committal Plan" you will not be charged the $10 fee. If you are transferring from 5K to the half you also pay the difference. If you are transferring from half to the 5K there is no refund. Please email events@sandyfeetevents.com.

I can no longer run, can I get a refund?

YES if you purchased the "Non-Committal Plan", only $9.50. Select this option during registration and you can cancel your registration for any reason until October 11. Getting your refund is easy, email us at events@sandyfeetevents.com with your name and your race entry will be refunded less the processing fee. If you did not purchase the Non-Committal Plan then you cannot get a refund but have the option of transferring to another runner or deferring to next year. Both incur a $10 fee.

Can I park on-site?

Yes, the $10 parking fee is included in your registration. There is plenty of parking for all runners on-site, just make sure you leave with plenty of time as there will be multiple hundreds of cars arriving at the same time and traffic will be backed up. There will be two lots open until 6:45am, after 6:45 the first lot will close (because half marathoners will be running through this area). There will be a flagger directing you to either lot at the intersection of Los Caballos Rd and Los Corralitos Rd. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE AND KEEP TRAFFIC MOVING. SEE MAP HERE

What is the course like?


Why is the course different this year?

Due to pushback from local property owners, we have had to change our course significantly over the last couple of years. It's not ideal, but we will have a blast anyway!

How much water and fuel is on the course? - SEE SUPPORT STATION MAP HERE

There will be course support every 1.5-2.5 miles. If you like to drink more water than that we recommend carrying a fuel belt or a water bottle so you can fill up at the water stations. In addition to water, Honey Stinger energy fuel/gel and Ultima Replenisher electrolyte drink will be at select course support stations.​

Are there bathrooms on the course? - SEE SUPPORT STATION MAP HERE

YES there are porta-potties at select course support stations on course.  


Is there a course time limit?

The half marathon course is limited to four hours. However we will not kick you off of the course, you just have to obey traffic laws as the roads open back up. Please use the shoulder.


Do I get a free shirt?

A tech tee is included with half marathon entry. We utilize green practices as often as possible so in an effort to keep t-shirts out of landfills, you have the option to get a t-shirt with your 5K entry, just choose the "5K + T-Shirt category". And if you decide you don't want a shirt, you pay less!

You also have the option of purchasing the race merchandise during the registration process and we will have them ready for you race weekend! We highly recommend pre-ordering to ensure your size and style!

What if it rains?

The Temecula Half Marathon & 5K will take place rain or shine. However, if conditions are determined by city officials to be unsafe, the race will be rescheduled. No refunds will be made.
